WeightsNet Privacy Statement

Information about subscribers to any mailing list at WeightsNet will never be given or sold to any outside party. This has always been the policy of the weights mailing list and this continues at WeightsNet. Information such as names and email addresses of site contacts for links in the Links Directory will also never be given or sold to any outside party.

However, this does not stop someone from taking contributors' email addresses from issues of weights. This is unfortunate and not preventable. However, issues of weights stored here at WeightsNet are kept in such a way that they are only accessible via a CGI script. No spider will be able to travel the all the back issues of weights unless they call this CGI script for each issue of weights. This is extremely unlikely and, in fact, most spiders do not index pages if they are only accessible via a CGI script (i.e. have a "?" in the URL).

Commercial, weight training-related mailings are available via the weights-products list but these only go out to people who have requested to be on that list.
