Glamourcon :-(
Just for the record, Glamourcon 40 sucked. First, I made the mistake of going on a Sunday, as I wasn't able to go Saturday. Why was this a mistake? On Saturday, they had two rooms going. On Sunday, they were going to have two rooms but not enough models showed up so they closed the second room and put everybody in one room--and there was lots of elbow room. When I walk through the room, enough of the models I was hoping to be there (because they were on the schedule), weren't, so that brought me down. Despite a start time of 11am and my not showing up until well after noon, models will still showing up the whole time I was there. Heck, when I left and was walking in the parking structure there was a model walking from that to go to the show. What's that? You say the girls were out partying late last night? Yeah, that's why I saw a Playmate from the eighties showing up after 1pm (and I'm guessing she wasn't out all night). Lazy girls, the same old (albeit beautiful) faces, the fans just a little bit creepier than usual, and add to that me having to go by myself (again--which, of course, is nobody's fault but my own) and I did not have a good time. In fact, I didn't take a single picture this year. Just wasn't in the mood.
On the bright side, if you're into Asian models, they were there in abundance. A big increase from last year. I wanted to get a picture with Akira Lane but didn't feel like wading through the crowd that was always around her. My fault for being too impatient (and down).
I really need to make it to Erotic L.A. next June.
And never, ever go to a Glamourcon on a Sunday.
